Current Job OpeningsSeeking a Maintenance Assistant / Congregational Driver starting in September 2026 to perform miscellaneous maintenance and repair tasks at the property of Mt St Joseph’s 2-3 days a week. In addition to doing maintenance work, the position consists of transporting sisters to appointments or social activities, in collaboration with medical care manager, most likely 1-2 days a week.
Under the direction of the maintenance manager, provides assistance in maintaining the grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe and operational manner.
Landscaping - Painting
- Moving furniture
- Snow removal
- General knowledge of building & equipment maintenance & operation
- General knowledge of minor electrical & plumbing repairs
- Inform Maintenance Manager of any problems or needed repairs
Under the direction of the medical care manager when driving sisters to appointments must have, the ability to keep sisters safe at all times.
Must have valid NYS driver’s license and a clean record - Excellent driving skills and ability to follow safety regulations
- Drives the sisters to and from appointments
- Drives sisters to social activities or other destination as required.
- Accompanies the sister in and out of the destination area, when necessary
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Reports to: Maintenance manager and medical care manager
