Sisters and Associates Mission in Action in Newburgh

On Saturday June 28, associate ministers and sisters prepared over 100 lunch bags and hygiene bags for residents and families living in three Newburgh area hotels/motels. They delivered the items to families in need with the help of the social worker Maritza and her husband Glenn.

We continue to pray for our neighbors in need and to act in ways that serve the common good and honor the human rights of all in society, especially the most vulnerable. We urge others, especially our leaders, to consider human dignity in their decision making.
